A well written, undergraduate level text book that is a good introduction to the subject for biology and chemistry majors. The only short coming is that it was published in 2002 and the hardback has not been updated. Text books are to be saved and this requires that they always be updated and available as a hardback book. This publisher is a fool to not do this. Scientists over 40 years of age DO NOT want kindles or any other digital garbage. They want books to put on a shelf for future reference. Kindles and electronic books are for kiddies reading Alice in Wonderland, and when it breaks they lose nothing of value. Other than it's date, this book is an excellent primer for the study of cannabinoids and the endocannabinoid system. It covers all the basic material that will not change, and does provide a nice base of references to pre-2001 studies. I recommend this book to both science majors and the educated lay-man.
Excellent book extremely helpful as a medial doctor with patients in the medical cannabis program a must read to understand interactions side effects and potential uses.
Good material, yet for the price...not impressed. I gave it 3 stars because it is well written, with plenty of reference material.
